Korea Tire Manufacturers Association(KOTMA) is a non-profit organization, representing the interests of tire & tube makers in Korea.
KOTMA is also seeking for the sound development of tire & tube manufacturing industry and the national economy.

About Us — OUR MISSION

Representing the interests of Korean tire & tube manufacturers and promoting the mutual benefit of the members by providing policy recommendations to the government for advanced systems and regulations related to tire & tube industry.

Key Activities

Korea Tire Manufacturers Association(KOTMA) is a non-profit organization, representing the interests of Facilitation of Various Procedures/Systems.
- Dealing with affairs responding to each country’s safety regulations, certification, and labeling system.
- Negotiations with foreign authorities on simplification of certification procedures.
International Cooperation
- Communication and cooperation with international organizations, foreign governments and tire-related organizations concerning harmonization of safety regulations.
Trade Issues
- Observing import regulations in foreign countries and providing relevant information.
Safety
- Conducting tire safety campaigns to raise public awareness of tire safety use and management and to prevent traffic accidents.
Analysis
- Analyze the trends in the tire & tube industry both at home and abroad, provision of various statistical data, and survey on demand and supply prospects, establish databases on automobile statistics, etc.
Sustainability
- Managing collection & treatment of ELTs for efficient and environmentally friendly tire recycling in Korea.
- Performing delegated tasks by the government in the interest of the tire & tube industry and of tire recycling in Korea.
